The Magdalen Project has a diverse and wonderful background which makes it a great place to explore an exciting range of wildlife.

Moth identification
with local wildlife expert Peter Darch

A mercury vapour moth trap will be used to attract insects for identification before release. Information will be given on all species that come into the light.

Wildlife Walk
with local wildlife expert Peter Darch

Join us for a two hour guided walk around the 132 acre Magdalen site and neighbouring area. Identify and discover the interesting flora and fauna of the area, could you be one of the first to spot an otter on the bank of the beautiful river Axe. Why not join us for a hearty lunch beforehand by special arrangement.
