Lifelong Learning Courses

View our current course schedule

Through our selection of Lifelong Learning courses we aim to provide a way of reviving fast-disappearing skills. The main centre is the home to the culinary experiences such as cheesemaking, meat curing and bread making. With our own farm providing an excellent base for smallholding, animal and land techniques. Our diverse range of managed and natural habitats provide the basis for our nature and wildlife walks and our gardens, orchards, and polytunnels are the ideal backdrop for our horticulture series.

All our tutors are experienced within their own field and we keep group sizes small to encourage as much hands-on experience as possible, group discussion and questioning. Notes accompany courses, where applicable, and we offer light refreshments and a hearty lunch on all day courses.

What we can offer:

We are continually expanding the courses we offer. Please contact us with any skill or technique you would wish to know more about and we will be happy to find a tutor.
